The hotel also has a variety of busy food and beverage outlets.

About the Role

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Banquet Team Leader to work in our food and beverage outlets. The successful candidate will provide 5 Star customer service to our guests, working closely with the Food & Beverage and Banquet Supervisors to ensure an exceptional restaurant experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive and motivate a successful team with a proactive hands-on approach
  • Ensure all staff are performing at their full potential, maximum productivity, and are consistent across all areas of service
  • Utilize strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Employ a high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Must have an RSA Certificate
  • Must hold valid working rights in Australia
  • Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays across a 7-day rotating roster
  • Must have a current Queensland RSA
  • Must have Food Safety Handling Certificate (from either unit SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006)
  • Must have legal rights to work in Australia
  • Possession of a current RMLV certification - highly regarded, but not essential
  • Experience with Micros POS highly desirable
  • Must be a positive, can-do, team player
