Music Educator Wanted for French Horn

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic music educator to join our team.

About the Role

The successful applicant will teach French horn on an individual and shared basis, manage student attendance, prepare students for performances and examinations, communicate with parents and create written reports.

About You

  • Teach French horn on an individual and shared basis
  • Manage accurate student attendance records
  • Prepare students for performances and examinations
  • Communicate effectively with parents and create written reports
  • Assist with large ensemble tutorials as required by the Director of Music or Head of Instrumental Music
  • Lead group lessons in our Year 5 Band Program
  • Contribute to event preparation and presentation such as Brass Concerts, Annual Music Concerts, Small Ensembles Concerts, Music Camps, Celebration Evenings and other performances as required
  • Liaise with the Head of Instrumental Performance regarding horn maintenance and repair
  • Undertake additional duties as determined by the Director of Music
