About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Werribee Mercy Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve safe, coordinated and streamlined transition for clients from an acute mental health inpatient setting to the community.
  • Provide clinical input to maximize the likelihood of developing strong connections with relevant supports within the community and minimizing early readmission (within 28 days).
  • Build strong partnerships with other clinicians within and outside of Mercy Health who are working to achieve the same goal.
Requirements
  • An approved degree in Psychology and registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or
  • An approved degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or
  • An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
  • A current Victorian Driver's License and ability to drive a work vehicle
