We're seeking a skilled Lawyer to Associate who is passionate about working in Government Public & Regulatory law. As an independent Australian firm, we have a rich story to tell, built on the power of relationships with our people, clients, and communities.

In this challenging role, you'll advise on a diverse range of administrative and regulatory matters in a fast-paced environment. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in regular advocacy work in Federal Courts and the Administrative Review Tribunal.

The team assists with some of the highest profile, sensitive, and strategic matters, working with leading experts in the field. We believe in developing the practice of individual lawyers according to their personal aspirations and interests.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Lawyer to Associate to join our dynamic Government Public & Regulatory team in Brisbane. You'll be acting for a range of Commonwealth clients in one of the largest and most highly regarded Government teams in the country.

  • Advising on a diverse range of administrative and regulatory matters
  • Involved in regular advocacy work in Federal Courts and the Administrative Review Tribunal
  • Working with leading experts in the field on high-profile, sensitive, and strategic matters
Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a well-regarded litigation practice, ideally in administrative/public law with merits review, judicial review, or regulatory law exposure
  • A solid grounding and demonstrated interest in administrative law
  • Ideal experience includes advocacy in Tribunals and/or Federal Courts
