Career Opportunity for Registered Nurses

We are seeking qualified professionals to join our multi-disciplinary team.

The department is a vibrant environment where diverse procedures are performed, encompassing coronary angiography, pacing, minor structural heart interventions, electrophysiology, vascular and interventional radiology procedures.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with the majority of shifts worked between daytime hours. Some shifts are worked from evening hours and overnight hours.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care and coordinating supervision of care delivered by junior staff and students.

  • Provides direct total patient care to patients to achieve identified outcomes in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures and Care Paths.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of/and functions in accordance with legislation and common law affecting nursing practice and acknowledges accountability/responsibility for own actions.
  • Ensures Infection Management policies and procedures are available to all staff and adhered to and implemented
  • Assist in completion of incidents / hazards / injuries reports.
  • Participate in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for activities that could pose a OHS risk
  • Communicate effectively with all customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication.

To succeed you will have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and have recent clinical experience within Cath Lab.
