Climate Change Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Climate Change Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing clients' first carbon measurements on our platform.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with Customer Success Managers and interfacing with clients to define data requirements for completing organisational carbon measurements. You will also transform unstructured data sets into structured data for ingestion into our products' data processing pipeline to calculate carbon emissions.

Using our platform, you will calculate, map, and publish carbon footprints used by companies for carbon measurement, management, and reporting. Additionally, you will provide feedback and learnings to the product development team to improve your workflow and extend the platform's capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a data analytics role, skills in writing SQL queries, data engineering, and structuring skills or a quantitative background with a desire to learn. Proficiency in Python is required, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex concepts for novice audiences.

Passion for climate change and sustainability is essential, as well as a strong ownership of work and willingness to make sense of unstructured data. Bonus qualifications include prior experience in climate or sustainability-related industries and knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Accounting Principles.
