Clinical Pathology Specialist

We are seeking motivated veterinarians to undertake an intensive training program leading to specialist examination in clinical pathology. The residency will involve a mixture of case directed learning, supported study, and laboratory duties.
You will have access to many pathologists globally to provide depth and breadth of knowledge and extensive mentor support locally and remotely.
Program Structure:- The first 12 months are a general pathology training period with exposure to anatomic and clinical pathology.
- After two years, you will be expected to undertake Phase I of the ACVP examination.
- After four years, you will be eligible to sit Phase II of the ACVP examination in veterinary clinical pathology.
Key duties and responsibilities will include laboratory benchwork, haematology film reviews, scientist support, interpretations of biochemistry, serology, urinalysis, endocrinology, and providing customer phone support.
You will be expected to attend and present at conferences and be an active part of the pathology community.
Preparation of research or case publications will be encouraged.
Requirements:You are a motivated and passionate veterinarian with at least 18 months of clinical experience, eligible to work and register as a veterinarian in Australia, New Zealand, or Japan. You possess excellent communication skills, strong ability to develop relationships with veterinary clients, and an outstanding work ethic.
Excellent written and spoken English is a requirement.
