Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Hydraulic Fitting Specialist.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and hydraulics knowledge, as well as excellent customer service skills.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, company car, and opportunities for overtime and commissions.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assembling, supplying, and installing hoses, tubes, and fittings to equipment and machinery, ensuring customer requirements and expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, supply, and install hoses, tubes, and fittings to equipment and machinery
  • Maintain customer records with all necessary information regarding orders, quotes, and product information
  • Attend all assigned service calls
  • Upsell services and products while on customer service calls
Requirements:
  • Trade or field services experience in fitting, mechanical, hydraulics, or similar trade
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Ability to arrange and plan priorities
  • Anticipate problems and be proactive in finding solutions
  • Strong understanding of customer service
  • Understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
  • Ability to carry out instructions
  • Medically fit for the task
  • Well-presented and groomed
  • Flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability is a prerequisite (rotational on-call roster)
