Job Description">

As a Utility Attendant, you will be working at Pumicestone School location in a Monday to Friday role with no weekend or public holiday work. Your working hours will be from 6:30am to 2:36pm.

This is an opportunity to work close to home and contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our school facilities.

  • General assistance will be provided to the Facility Supervisor.
  • You will be responsible for set-ups and pack-downs for events.
  • Actioning work orders efficiently will be key to your success.
  • Performing handy-person works and assisting trades as required will also be part of your duties.
  • Occasional light cleaning and grounds duties may arise.
  • Minor routine maintenance tasks will need to be carried out.
  • Other ad-hoc duties may be assigned to you.
Required Skills and Qualifications">

The ideal candidate will possess beginner to intermediate computer skills.

A strong safety focus is essential, along with a flexible approach and attitude.

Team players capable of working autonomously are highly desirable.

Previous experience working in a school or education environment would be advantageous.
