Lead Ecosystem Data Analyst

This role offers the opportunity to leverage expertise in data analysis and management to contribute to a pioneering organization that is redefining environmental regeneration.

As Lead Ecosystem Data Analyst, you will play a key role in investigating, understanding, and communicating project performance across various projects. This position involves leading the analysis of project data from multiple sources using appropriate statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate project outcomes. Additionally, it entails proactively monitoring ongoing project events, activities, and performance. You will also be responsible for creating and validating project forecasts and managing project and portfolio reporting schedules.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong analytical and reasoning skills, with the ability to break down complex problems using first-principle thinking. They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate findings, recommendations, and data-driven narratives to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Leading the investigation and pursuit of opportunities to improve the quality, scalability, efficiency, and standardization of project analysis and reporting.
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions to drive insights and influence decision-making.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve integration of core monitoring and analysis activities into project lifecycle management.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient response and resolution of triggered monitoring events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in applying statistical concepts, modeling, forecasting, hypothesis development, and testing.
  • Ability to manage, manipulate, and query large datasets using tools such as SQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in rapidly changing environments with high ambiguity.
  • Experience working with geospatial information and remote sensing practices.
