About the Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Quality Improvement Professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our clinical leadership teams to deliver sustainable clinical practice improvements across our South Australian homes.

Your primary focus will be to act as a Clinical Practice Lead, working with our Registered Nurses to model clinical excellence and provide education sessions as required. You will also be responsible for mentoring, training, and developing less experienced clinical care teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring and developing clinical care teams
  • Providing education sessions on clinical best practices
  • Identifying and addressing clinical trends and concerns among residents
  • Supporting the implementation of clinical improvement plans and projects
  • Providing a reliable and informed view of clinical quality

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Clinical leader, with a proven track record in clinical improvement project delivery. You will also require extensive clinical practice speciality in complex healthcare, palliative care, and/or dementia.

A Registered Nurse with experience in mentoring individuals is essential, as is a strong understanding of Quality Management Systems. You will also need exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and a drive for improvement and best practice.
