Job Title: Therapist for Child Development
Job Description:AIM Therapy is a dynamic multidisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, and Physiotherapists working together to provide holistic therapy services for children. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be part of our vibrant team that provides individualized and group therapies from purpose-built clinics across Perth, as well as in homes and schools.
Our occupational therapists work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care plans tailored to each child's needs. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from infants to adolescents, addressing various developmental delays and disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children's physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative therapy programs that cater to diverse client needs.
- Provide engaging and effective occupational therapy sessions to promote independence, confidence, and overall well-being in children.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience working with children with varying developmental delays and disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
