Backend Software Engineer

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems of our visualization product. This includes working closely with Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers in an agile environment to shape the future growth of our product.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems using Node.js and microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature requirements.
  • Develop high-impact features that drive business growth.
  • Ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in backend development with a focus on Node.js and microservices architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and taking a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to lead features independently and make informed recommendations.
  • Comfortable with discovery-driven problem-solving in complex environments.
  • Full-stack mentality with experience contributing to frontend tasks when necessary.
