Accounting Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to manage the day-to-day accounting and tax compliance for our funds.

This role involves preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing trial balances, calculating quarterly management fees, overseeing related party payments, and preparing statutory financial statements, tax returns, and BAS workings.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting half-year and year-end reporting, raising purchase orders, managing service receipting, liaising with external auditors, and contributing to special projects and ad hoc reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including GST, PAYG, and FBT.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, including journal entries, ledger accounts, and general ledgers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Commerce or Equivalent Qualification
  • CA/CPA Qualification
  • Experience in Professional Services or an Accounting-Related Role
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work with Microsoft Office Programs
