About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our care team in our aged care residence in Bathurst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care is delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist other care employees
  • Build and foster partnerships with residents, respecting their dignity and focusing on their health and wellbeing
  • Work with a supporting team to coordinate and deliver care
  • Provide complex clinical care, including wound dressing, medication administration, and condition assessments
  • Enter reports and observations on the iCare computer program
  • Evaluate and maintain care plans to meet changing resident needs
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered
  • 2+ years of experience in Aged Care
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare
  • Understanding of WHS responsibilities and manual handling principles
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and ACFI
  • Effective communication skills and an enthusiastic approach
