Leadership Opportunity for ICT Transformation

This senior leadership role presents a unique chance to shape the future of education through innovation, collaboration, and technology integration.

The position requires strategic and operational leadership of ICT services across a large educational network, ensuring that technology enhances teaching, learning, and organisational performance.

  • Provide visionary leadership for the development and implementation of an ICT strategy that aligns with the organisation's mission and objectives.
  • Drive the delivery of innovative, efficient, and cost-effective ICT solutions that support corporate and educational outcomes.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and governance of a multi-year ICT strategy that promotes digital transformation and excellence in education.
  • Oversee the architecture, security, application development, infrastructure, and end-user services across schools and the network.
  • Ensure strong ICT governance, risk management, and business continuity frameworks are in place to maintain a secure and reliable IT environment.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing ICT team that fosters a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the organisation at national ICT and education forums to promote best practices and advancements in technology integration.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A demonstrated commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education, with the ability to give witness to the faith life of the Church.
  • Significant executive-level experience in ICT leadership within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Proven capability in leading large-scale ICT strategies, projects, and transformations—delivered on time and within budget.
  • Strong governance and risk management experience, including information security and compliance.
  • Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines (postgraduate qualifications or industry certifications highly desirable).
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel are essential.
