About the Job

Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop big data systems with expertise in external data ingestion, stream processing, storage optimization, and advanced analysis and reporting applications in public clouds.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of platforms and tools, including AWS/Azure, Python, Java/Scala, SQL, NoSQL, and Spark.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and architecture.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in designing and developing big data systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in programming in Python and at least one other programming language.
  • Exposure to GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, and other modern development practices.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, especially AWS.
  • General architecture acumen, including database architecture, ETL, data warehousing, SOA, and cloud.
