Unique Metals Laser is a leading Australian manufacturer of high-precision laser cutting and fabrication services. With a rich history dating back to 1972, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for various industries.

We are seeking an experienced Factory Hand who will be responsible for:

• Packing and loading customer goods for pickup
• Unloading goods from trucks
• Operating a Forklift safely and efficiently
• Assembly operations, including removing parts from laser cut sheets
• Unloading parts from machines
• Grinding, sanding, and finishing laser-cut metal components
• Tapping, nutserting, and studding components
• General housekeeping of work areas
• Assisting with folding and fabrication duties
• Performing ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor

The successful candidate will possess:

• A current Australian Forklift license is essential
• A reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail
• The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Hardworking and physically fit, with good hand-eye coordination skills
• Safety-conscious and able to work in a busy environment
• Experience with hand and power tools
• The ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willingsness to work weekend overtime as required
