Compliance and Assessment Specialist

Are you a highly skilled environmental professional looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in environmental regulation? We are seeking a Compliance and Assessment Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments of complex technical submissions and undertake field inspections to ensure compliance with legislative and environmental objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry representatives, and community groups, to ensure effective working relationships.
- Develop and implement regulatory frameworks and policies to promote sustainable development.
- Strong knowledge of energy resource environmental regulation and compliance.
- Experience evaluating environmental documentation and conducting risk-based assessments.
- Ability to plan and undertake field audits and site inspections.
- Skilled in building effective working relationships with government, industry, and the community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
A degree qualification in a scientific or engineering discipline relevant to environmental management is essential. Regulatory/industry experience is desirable.
Benefits:This role offers a competitive salary range $88,255 - $97,667 per annum + superannuation.
