Key Role: Business Analyst

About the Job Description

We're looking for a highly motivated and adaptable professional to join our Strategy Division as a Business Analyst. In this pivotal role, you'll provide crucial analysis, reporting, and risk management support.

You'll be responsible for collecting and analysing portfolio and program data to provide insights, trends, forecasts, and risk assessments. Additionally, you'll identify, analyse, and monitor risks and cross-program dependencies, proposing resolution strategies and influencing senior stakeholders on portfolio prioritisation and sequencing.

Your responsibilities will also include designing and maintaining portfolio dashboards and reports primarily in Power BI, populating reports by collecting and combining data from various business sources, and optimising insights generation and proactively identifying opportunities for AI, automation, and advanced analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Data Analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
  • Proven experience in Portfolio Analysis:
    • Strategic planning and business case cost-benefit analysis.
    • Knowledge of portfolio prioritisation frameworks.
    • Complex interdependency management across portfolios or programs.
    • Experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
  • Proven experience in Portfolio Reporting:
    • Advanced proficiency in Power BI for data modelling, transformation, and visualisation.
    • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Data Analysis, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas).
    • Capability in SQL, Python, or R for advanced analytics.
    • Experience applying or piloting emerging AI/ML capabilities in data analysis and reporting.
  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM):
    • Experience using PPM tools and knowledge of portfolio and project management methodologies.
