Job Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, developing and delivering operational policy and procedure development, and legislative reform.

You will manage project activities to deliver quality results on time, support decisions with clear documentation, and engage stakeholders effectively. Clear communication and strong collaboration are essential in a fast-paced environment.

  • As a key contributor, you will build partnerships between senior leaders and Aboriginal staff to improve cultural capability and enable Aboriginal outcomes sector-wide.
  • You will enable our people to engage with Aboriginal communities through place-based cultural immersion and equip directors with knowledge, leadership skills, and practical tools to drive Aboriginal outcomes and meaningful change within their portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Deliver project support services, including maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and coordinating resources to ensure successful outcomes.

Policy and Procedure Development: Evaluate and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance clarity, efficiency, and alignment with statutory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with stakeholders, coordinate consultations, and facilitate collaboration to support policy development and legislative objectives.

Knowledge of the NSW Planning System: Experience in planning and environmental legislation and processes is desired but not essential.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, and entities. You will need to provide Confirmation of Aboriginality upon application.
