Job Title: Physiotherapist

The role of the Physiotherapist is a crucial part of our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be working in acute services including ICU, CCU, surgical and medical settings.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their clinical needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
    • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy lifestyle practices and disease management.

Selection Criteria:

  • Education:
    • Master's degree or Doctorate in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
    • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
  • Skills and Experience:
    • Proven experience in acute care settings, including ICU, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery.
    • Highly developed assessment and treatment skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate complex information to patients and their families.
