Job Title: Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and evaluating a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collect data and provide feedback on the performance of the autonomous vehicle.
  • Offer ride hail service to the general public, ensuring a safe and efficient experience.
  • Operate/Drive autonomous vehicles on both defined and undefined routes, including a variety of environmental conditions.
  • Test other aspects of our autonomous vehicles, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Complete timely and detailed ride reports for our operations and engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with a laptop and Office apps (i.e., Gmail, Sheets and Docs).
  • Proficiency using a handheld device/touchscreen smartphone.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to quickly and concisely describe thoughts.

Work Environment:

  • Most work is accomplished outdoors in a vehicle.
  • Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and long periods of sitting are required.
