About the Role:

  • This role is available in a retail environment.
  • Product training is ongoing and includes leading brands.
  • We are seeking a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service.

This position will suit a team player who has a real passion for tools & trades. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid, long-term relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in store and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide advice and information on products to customers.
  • Support customer queries and offer solutions to meet their needs.
  • Maintain store displays and ensure a well-presented store environment.
  • Process and maintain customer orders promptly.
  • Reach and exceed sales targets through effective selling strategies.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail and/or trade experience is highly regarded.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
  • A genuine passion for tools and trade industry knowledge is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Comfortable with technology and computer literacy is a must.

Working Conditions:

  • A 10 day fortnight roster – working every second weekend, with an RDO each week.
  • 9:00am – 5:00pm weekdays.
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm Saturdays.
  • 9:00am – 2:00pm Sundays and public holidays.
