Job Description

As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and repair of our building assets. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a positive impact on our community.


Responsibilities will include conducting minor investigations, assisting with maintenance work requests, and carrying out various tasks such as locksmith works, tiling, painting, cleaning, plastering, timber framing, and other minor building maintenance tasks as directed.


You will also be required to carry out and assist with maintenance works on furniture and facilities, including carpentry, joinery, cabinet making, painting, glazing, plastering, demolition, and other tasks directed by the supervisor.


Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficient knowledge of general construction practices, including safety requirements on the work site
  • Ability to draw on technical knowledge to solve work site problems as part of a working team
  • Aptitude in safe storage and handling of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Conducting building maintenance inspections and reports via various user-friendly reporting platforms
  • Ensuring all works are carried out to agreed standards and in accordance with expectations
  • Construction white card, working at heights
  • Current driver's licence
  • Current Working with Children Check
