Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to contribute to our culinary team in Bentley on a CASUAL basis. This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals that cater to their specific dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals that meet the dietary requirements of our residents.
• Oversee kitchen operations to ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and replenishing supplies as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Possession of a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within large-scale meal preparation.
• Experience in a production kitchen setting.
• Basic understanding of nutritional needs for elderly individuals.
• Ability to manage food procurement and inventory effectively.
• Strong budgeting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
