Tax Specialist

As a tax specialist, you will gain in-depth knowledge of tax compliance while working across multiple jurisdictions. You will develop international exposure with opportunities in transfer pricing and M&A projects.

  • Contribute to strategic projects and process improvements, gaining visibility across multiple business units and jurisdictions.

You will play a key role in ensuring the organisation meets its tax obligations. Assist in preparing and reviewing local compliance tasks, including income tax, GST, FBT, BAS and withholding tax.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review local compliance tasks.
  • Assist with tax balance sheet reconciliations and accounting workpapers for financial reporting.
  • Support tax governance and risk management across the region.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies when required.
  • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders on tax-related queries.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in commercial tax or professional services (Big 4/Second Tier ideal).
  • CA/CPA or CTA qualification (or close to completion).
  • Strong technical knowledge across income tax, GST, FBT and indirect taxes.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders.
