Strategic Advisor and Support Lead

Key Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our executive team as a Strategic Advisor and Support Lead.
This role serves as a trusted advisor, counsel, and support to the executive team. The position holder will have responsibility for advising on strategic industrial relations and carrying out the organization's industrial relations agenda.
The role operates within an external environment of high risk and sensitivity and requires significant judgment in determining risk positions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify risks associated with the management of the organization and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate risk.
- Provide strategic advice regarding daily operations and oversee key priorities, initiatives, and activities related to the overall plans of the organization.
- Negotiate on behalf of the organization in forums across governments and departments.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role at a senior management level, preferably in an area of rapid change or transformation.
- Superior interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience directing work of an industrial and political nature.
