Secondary Classroom Teacher
">- Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our team as a Secondary Classroom Teacher at the Joshua Centre, Tyabb campus. The successful candidate will have experience in autistic education, with the ability to teach across Years 7 to 9.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students in a supportive learning environment with small class sizes of up to 12 students
- Work collaboratively with a full-time aide to provide differentiated programs tailored to sensory needs
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students to ensure academic success
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in teaching autistic learners
- Ability to teach across Years 7 to 9
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility in FTE to accommodate different work arrangements
