Working in the Trade Yard

As a member of our trade yard team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of all colleagues, customers, and contractors within your department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the well-being and safety of all colleagues, customers, and contractors within your department
  • Provide exceptional customer service in the yard, assisting customers with their orders and delivering fast and efficient results
  • Pick and prepare orders for delivery trucks
  • Effectively manage and store stock, mainly timber and associated products

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Exhibit the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
  • A keen eye for detail and sense of urgency are essential
  • Ability to work across the 5 days of the week, including occasional Saturday mornings
  • Forklift License not required but advantageous
