Industry Partnership Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Industry Partnership Specialist to join our team. This role will play a key part in promoting and driving the UNSW Co-op Program to industry, managing scholar/sponsor partnerships, securing sponsorship places, conducting annual reviews with and reporting to sponsors primarily in the area of Technology and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop a network of industry contacts and sponsors, promoting UNSW Co-op programs with industry.
  • Demonstrate understanding and appreciation of industry needs, trends, and challenges to make an ongoing strategic contribution to the review of the Program in those sectors.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive partnerships with the Co-op Program sponsor pool.
  • Work with Co-op Academic Coordinators across relevant program streams/faculties, supporting student allocations and attending scholar end-of-placement presentations and managing general student issues for the relevant program streams.
  • Support the UNSW Co-op Internship Partner in selecting and appointing interns.
  • Conduct sponsor reviews and prepare reports as required by sponsor companies, including graduate recruitment stories and statistics.
  • Contribute to optimising Professional Development Program (PDP) workshops and events.
  • Initiate and manage key Co-op processes, such as Co-op Exit Surveys, Graduate Recruitment events, and other activities.

  • Experience working in a similar industry partnership role or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
