**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Mechanical Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine inspections of all systems and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Carry out routine repair work and other tasks of a general maintenance nature to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Establish and communicate the level of quality in the performance of maintenance tasks to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Ensure safety and promote safe practices, compliant with our company's WHS policies and procedures.
  • Work independently as well as part of the team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Assist production where required to ensure seamless operations.
  • Carry out general fabrication work to support the maintenance of our equipment and facilities.

**Requirements:**

  • Completed year 10 or equivalent.
  • Enthusiasm for a career in maintenance and mechanics.
  • Willingness to learn and obtain a trade qualification in Fitter/Machinist or Maintenance Fitter.
  • Strong commitment to following company policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and understand schematic drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
