Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering geotechnical designs for surface and underground structures.

Your primary objective will be to analyze and prepare recommendations and reports for projects related to geotechnical interpretation, foundation design, slope stability, dams, and other geotechnical aspects.

You will work closely with teams in Australia and overseas to deliver design solutions, understanding materials testing objectives to support geotechnical investigation and design recommendations.

In addition, you will lead and manage project tenders and cost estimates, train and mentor all levels of team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and clients, fostering strong relationships and clear communication
  • Proven geotechnical design experience and strong numerical/analytical capabilities
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to develop and lead geotechnical design teams
