Physics Teacher Position

SchoolHouse is partnering with a P-12, co-educational, ecumenical college to recruit a Physics Teacher. The college is committed to providing a learner-centred, values-driven curriculum and promoting an inclusive learning framework that responds to the needs of all learners. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach a second subject area and contribute to the college's focus on eco-justice and conservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics to students from Prep to Year 12
  
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic excellence and promote a positive school culture
  
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on curriculum developments
  

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Physics pedagogy
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents
  
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve academic excellence
  
• Commitment to child safety and well-being
  
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and a current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
