We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our project team in a key role.

This role will be an integral part of the project team, working on the construction delivery of allocated projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in supporting construction leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities will include setting daily, weekly and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials and resources. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and reviewing costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects, contributing to the constructability of a project with respect to design development, and undertaking tender, evaluation and award of subcontract procurement packages.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material against drawings and specifications, arranging corrections/modifications as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). They will also analyse and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting, and compliance reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent, and at least 5-10 years' experience in engineering. A NSW Drivers Licence and White Card are also essential.
