We are seeking a seasoned veterinary nurse to join our rapidly growing 24/7 emergency centre and day hospital as a Lead Veterinary Nurse.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing team, tackling complex emergency trauma cases, CT scans, and internal medical cases with CRIs. They will also be expected to provide an industry-leading customer experience, develop our nursing internship program, and ensure seamless back-end operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the nursing team in emergency scenarios, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior nurses, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of theatre nursing, ensuring a premium level of service.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive business growth and expansion.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV Qualifications as a Veterinary Nurse (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of two years' nursing experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
