**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to join our team at Helping Hand. As a key member of our Gardening and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality gardening services to meet the needs of our clients living in their own homes and across our retirement village spaces.

**About the Role**

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and passionate Gardener to make a real difference in the lives of older people in our community. As a Gardener with Helping Hand, you will have the opportunity to work independently under limited supervision, using your expertise to provide a range of gardening services including mowing, edging, snipping, weeding, mulching, planting, pruning, sweeping, litter collection, and other gardening tasks as required.

You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, where every moment matters and every client counts. Our team is passionate about delivering connected, personalised, considerate, and caring services that make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

**What You'll Bring**

  • A minimum of 1 year of gardening or nursery experience
  • A sound knowledge and experience of using gardening equipment
  • The ability to work independently under limited supervision
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Current Australian driver licence
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
  • A registered, well-maintained, reliable, and insured vehicle
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
  • The ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook)

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits.
