About the Role

As a Corporate Banking Specialist at Bank of Queensland, you will provide critical support to the Corporate Relationship Executive in preparing credit submissions for new and existing customers. Your expertise will be essential in completing periodic credit reviews, ensuring all documentation and settlements are processed promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit complex lending submissions exceeding $10m.
  • Review and verify accuracy of completed documents.
  • Collaborate with the Relationship Executive to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, achieving targeted standards.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through tailored banking solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to BOQ's credit policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Liaise with Loan Centre and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate documentation.

About You

We seek a highly skilled and experienced professional with:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions exceeding $10m.
  • Ability to critically analyze financial statements and identify industry trends.
  • Proven ability to deliver superior customer service.
  • Strong internal and external relationship-building skills, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge.
  • Strong time management and numeracy skills.
