Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia East Coast Apprenticeships Full time

As an enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects with East Coast Apprenticeships, a leading provider of apprenticeships in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities will include constructing wall and ceiling frames, pitches roofs, eaves and external stairs, laying sub-flooring and floorboards, nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding, doors and windows, measuring materials and carrying out calculations, using a variety of hand and power tools, cutting materials, assembling and nailing, and constructing concrete formwork.

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong interest and commitment to work in construction, a White Card or the ability to obtain one ASAP, a current Drivers Licence and have your own reliable transport, Certificate I or II in Construction is advantageous, work experience within the construction industry is highly desirable, be physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail, reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously, and ideally have your own basic tools (including nail bag).
