Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technician to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's technical systems and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Maintenance: Ensure the preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance of all technical systems and facilities within the hotel.
- Safety and Compliance: Implement and monitor the safety log and all maintenance contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the proper functioning of all technical elements and installations in the hotel, manage their life cycles, and handle relationships with subcontracting companies.
- Energy Efficiency: Manage and optimize energy consumption and implement and monitor the Preventive Maintenance Plan.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead all Open House teams to implement and monitor regulatory procedures for fire safety, ensuring the safety of people and property, and guest quality and comfort.
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and follow up on action plans for Safety Committees and all regulatory bodies.
- Specialized Expertise: Advise the General Manager on specialized intervention needs.
- Investment Planning: Work with the General Manager to manage the investment plan of the establishment and optimize technical expenses in accordance with company procedures.
- Supplier Management: Manage all suppliers and subcontractors with the General Manager: solicit bids, conduct competitive tenders, and request quotes.
- Education: Advanced Technician's Certificate / Technical University Diploma / Associate's Degree in Technical and Maintenance.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years minimum of professional experience in a similar role.
- Language: A good level of English and fluent in Hungarian.
