**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team in a permanent full-time role. This position is located onsite in a state-of-the-art distribution center.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in breaking down cartons to label and stage deliveries for the delivery professionals to collect.
  • Apply Safe Manual Handling Practices and follow relevant Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) and Safety Protocols to ensure safe and productive work practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

**Requirements**

  • A LF Fork lift license (essential)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (using manual handling processes) and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jack.
  • Understanding of safe manual handling practices and WHS Practices
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Organisation and time-management skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated with a flexible and adaptable attitude for our diverse environment.
  • Experience working within the transport/warehouse/logistics industry
