About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to lead daily kitchen operations and food production in a fast-paced environment. You will assist the Catering Manager and support our ministry by planning menus, prepping food, managing stock, and orders.

You will be responsible for ensuring that everything is up to safety standards and handle special dietary needs with care. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate cooking professional with trade qualifications in commercial cookery and/or catering to develop their culinary skills and expertise.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead Daily Kitchen Operations: Plan, coordinate, and manage daily kitchen activities to meet menu and service requirements.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with the Catering Manager to plan and prepare menus for events and daily operations.
  • Stock and Order Management: Effectively manage inventory levels, place orders, and maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Dietary Needs: Ensure all special dietary requirements are met while maintaining high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintenance of High Standards: Maintain a safe working environment, adhere to WHS standards, and ensure high-quality food presentation.
