The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Analyst to join our team at APA, a leading Australian energy infrastructure business. As a key member of our Networks team, you will play a critical role in delivering an optimally efficient schedule of work allocated to our technicians, ensuring the production of an optimally efficient schedule of work by continually reviewing field resources (crews and equipment) availability and utilisation against expected demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and adjust schedules created by the works scheduling solution to identify efficiency improvements
- Analysis of system scheduling decisions and data integrity to identify errors, exceptions and irregularities and being able to recommend or implement actions to rectify
- Communicate factors and variables which influence schedule generation to the stakeholders.
- Monitoring the system and KPI dashboards and providing jeopardy management to proactively resolve scheduling issues
About You
- Significant experience in analytics and schedule management in service maintenance, preferably in the gas or utilities industry
- Tertiary qualifications in economics, commerce, statistics or other quantitative discipline
- Formal Scheduling and/or Planning Advanced Trade or Post Graduate qualification an advantage
- Detailed knowledge of statistical analysis techniques or experience in route optimisation systems, preferably in field service applications
- Demonstrated strong analytical mindset with proficiency in managing, interpreting, and presenting data to drive informed decision-making
- Experience of Click software or Salesforce products experience would be an advantage
About the Team
Our Networks team manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia. We are growing and expanding with many new projects, including the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
