About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to support students with autism.

You will work closely with teachers and families to identify learning goals and develop strategies for student success.

As an Educational Assistant, you will create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to individual student needs.

This role requires a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of children on the autism spectrum and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks and educational activities
  • Build positive relationships with students, families and staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with autism or intellectual disabilities (desirable)
  • Knowledge of transitioning students into mainstream settings
  • Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent qualification desirable
  • Effective communication skills
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
