Sustainability Expert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies, action plans, policies, and training programs aimed at improving sustainability and environmental outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on ESG and environmental regulatory compliance, ensuring that our sustainability objectives are met nationwide.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of sustainability data across our construction operations for reporting purposes.
  • Monitor and report on key sustainability and environmental performance metrics, facilitating risk management and continuous improvement towards our sustainability goals.
  • Nurture external relationships with relevant industry bodies and stakeholders.
  • Integrate sustainability and environmental requirements into design and procurement processes.
  • Coordinate and manage external sustainability consultants.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Specialized experience in environmental and sustainability practices within the construction industry, including a deep understanding of principles and applications.
  • A strong grasp of Federal, State, and local environmental statutes and legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • The ability to develop and execute initiatives aligned with our organizational direction.
  • The capacity to travel interstate as required.
