Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:
CPC Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to manage and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring successful completion while meeting project requirements, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects with zero harm to personnel and the environment.
  • Meet or exceed project goals developed during the definition phase.
  • Deliver projects within or below the approved budget.
  • Meet project schedules.
  • Comply with environmental, community, and heritage requirements and conditions.
  • Perform overall project performance with the Project Manager.
  • Promote HSEC as a priority in all project areas.
  • Manage day-to-day construction management for the project area.
  • Manage interfaces with all stakeholders.
  • Review and approve key documentation to ensure it meets objectives and design concepts.
  • Review schedule and progress reporting to ensure timely and relevant data is provided.
  • Approve all cost commitments for the project area.
  • Oversee commercial and contractual matters for the project area.
  • Respond to issues, delays, or technical difficulties that impact costs and/or project schedules.
  • Compile area monthly reports for Project Manager approval.
  • Adhere to CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures, and quality management requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Science in Engineering, or similar technical qualifications with at least 5 years relevant experience in mining projects, including design and construction experience.
  • Familiarity with Mines Safety and Inspections Regulations and associated Acts.
  • High-level communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of databases and version control.
  • Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Proven time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Current WA Driver License.
  • Able to provide evidence of Permanent Residency or Australian Citizen status.
