The successful candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering, with experience in underground mine planning and design. You will be responsible for producing final designs for new ore bodies and areas, updating physicals and status changes, and ensuring stope reconciliations are completed.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed mine plans and designs to meet the 12-month mine plan
- Update physicals and status changes from final designs into mine Schedule
- Ensure stope reconciliations are completed and reported
- Design and approve mine design Mine Works Instructions
- Provide monthly plan data and required tasks to project and production staff
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mine Planning Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality results. You will have a strong background in mining engineering, with experience in underground mine planning and design.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an underground environment. You will also have strong engineering software skills, including Deswik, and experience with completion of level designs and monthly/quarterly scheduling.
