Support Workers Make a Real Difference

In this role, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Whether it's assisting with daily tasks, providing emotional support or simply being a friendly face, you will make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Job Description

Assisting Clients with Daily Tasks

You will assist clients with a range of daily tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming and using the bathroom. You may also be required to help with meal preparation and household chores.

Providing Emotional Support

In addition to practical support, you will also provide emotional support to our clients, listening to their concerns and offering words of encouragement when needed.

Being a Friendly Face

Many of our clients are isolated or lonely, so your friendly face and warm smile can make a big difference in their day. You will take the time to get to know our clients and build relationships with them, making them feel valued and respected.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • A driver's license and reliable vehicle (for rural areas)
  • First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to use smartphones and tablets for communication and record-keeping

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • $33.81 per hour + 12% superannuation
  • Part-time hours with flexible shifts (Monday to Friday, 7am-7pm)
  • Up to $15,900 in tax-free salary packaging
  • $0.99/km travel allowance and daily mobile allowance
