About the Role

The Logistics Operator will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse-related duties such as receiving and storage of goods, preparing orders for shipment, picking items by batch and ID/kit numbers and ensuring that orders are filled accurately and efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining a harmonious team environment and ensuring that the function is operating effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with standard operating procedures and policies to ensure consistent practices nationally and align with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant OH&S legislation and identify any issues requiring action in line with WCA policy.
  • Prepare box contents according to information described on Packing List with correct temperature control.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipping, while also processing inbound, outbound, and return shipments.
  • Work closely with packaging contacts to maintain sufficient supplies for the warehouse.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' logistics and warehousing experience, including receiving/put away, inventory/replenishment, pick/pack process from wave order to completion, and booking transport for cold chain orders.
  • Current forklift license - counter balance and high reach, and electric reach trucks.
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ability to work with and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
