About the Role

The Senior Financial Accounting Manager will lead end-to-end financial accounting for the Australian Leisure Brand, playing a critical role in ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the General Ledger close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations across the division, providing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews with commentary and analysis.
  • SUPPORTING THE GROUP FINANCIAL REPORTING TEAM DURING EXTERNAL AUDITS, ENSURING AUDIT REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO THE LEISURE BRAND ARE MET.
  • Identifying, monitoring, and reviewing at-risk items to protect the business.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency in finance workflows.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and financial control requirements.
What We Offer

  • 5+ years of experience with ASX-listed reporting and financial accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Sharp attention to detail, with a curiosity to explore and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with modeling, Power Automate, and/or Power BI.
  • CA/CPA qualified (highly desirable) with an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • A collaborative approach with a commitment to supporting a positive team culture aligned with company values.
